Is There Anyone Who Cares?

WE CARE ABOUT YOU

Do you wonder sometimes if anyone really cares? Our world can seem pretty cold and heartless. Even relatives and friends can become so preoccupied with their own affairs that they appear to have little concern for us. We'd like you to know that as Christians, we do care.

WE CARE ABOUT YOUR FRIENDSHIP

Often today, the closer people live together, the less they know about each other. On the frontier everyone knew his distant neighbors. The modern apartment dweller may not even know the family next door. Many city residents feel a deep loneliness. This loneliness finds its way into rural settings as well. This doesn't have to be. The finest friends in the world are committed Christians. When you visit us we want you to find a genuine friendliness among those who care about your friendship. We would like to be your friends.

WE CARE ABOUT YOUR PROBLEMS

Everyone has problems, some big, some little, all very real. Sometimes they seem to overwhelm us and we can't see the light at the end of the tunnel. When this happens we need others to help us cope. We believe the church is a family, and, as in the human family, we ought to help each other. The Bible teaches us, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2). No, we can't solve all your problems, but we can help you find answers in Christ. We care enough to try.

WE CARE ABOUT GOD'S WORD

Strange, isn't it, that so many professing Christians place so little emphasis on the Bible? This is where we find the great truths of Jesus. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that is why it is the basis of all our religious teaching. We have no creed but Christ, no guidebook but the Bible. Our Sunday Bible classes, conducted for all ages, from small children to adult, are rooted in the teaching of the Bible. We want to live by the moral precepts of the New Testament and seek to model the church today after the pattern of the church revealed in the Bible.

WE CARE ABOUT BEING JUST CHRISTIANS

The religious world is terribly divided. It is no surprise that many are turned off by this. Wouldn't it be wonderful if all were content to be just Christians? We are a congregation of undenominational disciples of Jesus that is striving to make it no more complicated than that. We seek to be "Christians only" without any denominational prefix or suffix.

WE CARE ABOUT YOUR SOUL

Some may inquire, "What are you after?" We live in a skeptical day. Many think that everyone has an angle. It is difficult to convince people that you are not after their money or possessions. Frankly, the Apostle Paul expressed our purpose very well when he wrote, "What I want is not your possessions but you" (II Corinthians 12:14). The church should exist to serve, not just to be served. We are vitally concerned about souls, yours and ours. Jesus inquired, "What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?" (Matthew 16:26). We invite you to become a fellow seeker with us of that eternal home of the soul.

If you are trying to find some answers and are looking for people who care, we hope you will visit our services and consider our plea to be just Christians. Search with us for answers in the written Word of God. We believe you will find what you're looking for.
