Bible Truth Outline #14
HOW TO HAVE VICTORY OVER TEMPTATION
Introduction
It is inevitable that temptations would come upon the whole world (Rev. 3:10). Yet, God promises that Christian can be "rescued" from them (II Pet. 2:9), "aided" in temptation (Heb. 2:18), and provided a means of "escape" and "endurance" when tempted (I Cor. 10:13). Being tempted, IN ITSELF, IS not sin, for even Jesus was tempted (Matt. 4:1). It's GIVING IN to temptation where sin happens. How can we avoid sinning when tempted?

II. Study the Bible.
III. Avoid Wrong Companions.
IV. Think About the Word of God.

2. What measures have you taken to keep temptations from leading you into sin?
3. Why do some people seem to be plagued by temptations more than others?
