HOW TO HAVE VICTORY OVER TEMPTATION

By William E. Paul

Introduction

It is inevitable that temptations would come upon the whole world (Rev. 3:10). Yet, God promises that Christian can be "rescued" from them (II Pet. 2:9), "aided" in temptation (Heb. 2:18), and provided a means of "escape" and "endurance" when tempted (I Cor. 10:13). Being tempted, IN ITSELF, IS not sin, for even Jesus was tempted (Matt. 4:1). It's GIVING IN to temptation where sin happens. How can we avoid sinning when tempted?
